Dear friend of Whispering Pines Church,

We so appreciated Dr. Greg Fell speaking in our worship hour last Sunday. This Sunday, the 26th, I will be taking a slight detour from our 1 Peter study with a passage in Philippians chapter one that has been deeply upon my heart of late. Do you every allow life’s challenges to keep you at their mercy? Do you feel like a victim of circumstance? “Stoking the Flame” (Philippians 1:3-11) will offer challenge AND practical means of becoming a practitioner of all God wants for us in life. 

Additionally, recently, I challenged the congregation to consider an enrichment seminar in four parts on the why’s and how’s of sharing our faith in Christ with others. This Sunday morning, during the adult Sunday school hour (9:30AM), we will start the first of four sessions. Please make this opportunity a priority. Hope to see you Sunday…
